Mushroom Adventures uses UPS to ship Mushroom Kits to the 48 contiguous states. Mushroom Kits ship via UPS ground  Monday through Friday unless otherwise specified by you when you order your kit. Kits generally ship the same business day or within 24 hours of your order.

Our mushroom kits are shipped from Central California. 

For deliveries to the East Coast by UPS Ground needs 5-6 delivery days.  (Plus 2 non delivery days if applicable.)

For deliveries to the West Coast UPS needs 1 to 3 delivery days. (Plus 2 non delivery days if applicable.)

Holiday Shipping

It has been our experience that mushroom kits shipped for delivery a day or two before a holiday can be delayed by severe weather.  It is better to order your mushroom kit to arrive a week before the holiday to ensure on time delivery.  This means place your holiday order early during the 1st. or 2nd. week of December.  This will allow 1 week of transit to the East Coast and one week of possible delay, if any occurs.  During this time of year, the mushroom kits change very little due to the cold weather.  ( Ordering a kit to early can be just as bad.  These are alive and time sensitive so do not order your mushroom kit any earlier than 2- 3 weeks before it will be started.)

Mushroom Adventures recommends during the holiday season that orders be placed at the latest before the following dates in order to accommodate shipments for the Christmas Holiday. Other arrangements can be made by phone, (530) 701-9700
