Lion's Mane is one of our most consistently fruiting mushrooms. They can grow several fruiting from the same block. The block fruits mushrooms 2-3 weeks apart under ideal conditions. We have harvested 3-4 clusters from our lion's mane blocks over 6-8 weeks. These kits are mature and ready to start. Plan on starting it immediately.

Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus)
It's easy to grow. This is a mushroom with mild flavor, it often picks up the flavors of what it's being cooked with. One block has potential to grow several clusters of mushrooms. It grows fast and fruits several times. The mushrooms are white with tiny spines. They start off as a velvety ball, then develop small hairs that can turn into half inch long spines. The size of the mushroom can be anywhere from 2-6 inches in diameter. They lend themselves to all methods of cooking.
Lion's Mane mushrooms
can be cooked in many ways, sauteed, stir-fried or battered and
cook like tempura. They are easy to grow and store well after
harvesting in the refrigerator. All mushroom kits can to some degree
attract small fungus gnats this is normal. Shipping charges are
calculated at time of check out. Our mushroom kit are intended to allow
the average individual the
experience of growing there own mushrooms at home, and is not intended
